Whether you feel the thrill of fishing or you just want to relax on deck tasting the flavors of the local cuisine, a sailing trip is the best way to start the year.


Fishing tournaments

The Loreto region is one of the best for sportfishing and, during April, the fishing season begins.

The jack mackerel competitions are the most numerous, but there are also options for the more experienced, who can go after tuna, common dolphinfish or sawfish, large pelagic fish and roosterfish, and start releasing the line in preparation for the strongest part of the season.


Festival de la almeja chocolata

Thanks to its privileged location, Loreto has a wide variety of ingredients that its talented chefs transform into world-class cuisine

One of them is the chocolata clam, a variety native to the region that plays a starring role during the first weekend of June in its own festival for up to 700 people.


Loreto 400

The roar of the engines can be heard from the Sierra de la Giganta to the towns of Comondú, San Javier and Loreto.

The traditional Loreto 400 is a race that tests the best off-road pilots in desert circuits, whose orography makes it one of the most exciting of its kind.


Sprint Triathlon

The weather in Loreto is pleasant practically all year round, making it ideal for high-performance competitions.

One of them is the Sprint Triathlon, which starts in the crystal clear waters of the local bay, where athletes begin a tour that contagiously energizes the beautiful streets of this magical town.


Festivities of San Javier.

The small town, of only 130 inhabitants and known as the jewel of the Jesuit Missions, dresses up from December 1st to 3rd for one of the best festivities in the region.
